Starting photography lovers typically look for two things in a compact electronic camera: Ease of use and a excellent value (meaning an excellent mix of cost and features). Such electronic cameras might not do everything completely, but they should outshine others in their cost variety. My Nikon Coolpix L20 review shows that this compact electronic camera fits those two critera almost completely. In addition, it functions excellent reaction periods.

Nikon Coolpix L20 Design
Had Nikon included a bigger visual contact than the 3.6X in the L20, it would’ve been awesome. This electronic camera isn’t ideal for capturing nature images from a distance or sports across a huge field. The zoom capability does work in movie method, however. The L20 cannot take wide position images, unfortunately. Despite a few minimal disadvantages, the L20 provides in the primary areas of importance for beginning photograhers.
Nikon Coolpix L20 Image Quality
For a budget-priced electronic camera, the Coolpix L20 generates excellent picture top quality, much better than most sub-$150 electronic cameras. The automated concentrate, visibility, and shutter rates of speed are precise many plenty of your time, generating distinct, shiny images. The L20 launches excellent images in the house, too, which often is an Achilles’ heel of bargain-priced electronic cameras.
The only major disadvantage to the Coolpix L20’s picture top quality is in excessive close-up images, which hardly ever have distinct concentrate. The L20 could use a “document” field method. It also would be awesome if the L20 had a little more than its 10.0 mega p excellent, but most beginning photography lovers will be OK with this model’s top quality.
Nikon Coolpix L20 Performance
One area where the Coolpix L20 experiences a little bit is in battery power. It operates from two non reusable AA battery power, and it seems to run out of battery power pack quicker than other AA-powered electronic cameras, probably, in part, because of its huge, 3.0-inch LCD. Its overall battery power is below average, especially in comparison to electronic cameras that run from exclusive battery power.

Keep in mind that the Nikon L20 is an older compact electric camera, so its efficiency levels are quite a bit below more recent Nikon starter electronic cameras. For example, one like the Nikon Coolpix S9100 can give you quicker efficiency and a better visual contact for a high cost. Still, the L20 is available now at a low cost.
